    Clutch cable adjuster

I just bought an 01 Gt and was told by the previous owner that the throw out bearing is making noise because there is slack in the clutch cable. He included a firewall cable adjuster for me to install. Anyone else had this happen? And do I need an aftermarket cable to or will the adjuster work with the stock cable

Stock quadrant is more prone to keeping the cable too tight vs too loose.
To use an aftermarket firewall adjuster, need aluminum quadrant as well. Combo from Maximum Motorsport is among the best out there as is the cable they sell. Be wary of other aftermarket cable offerings, bulk of them are cheap offshore, can not go wrong with either OEM Ford (not Ford Racing) or MM version.

    previous owner lied.
throw-out bearing is making noise because it's shot.

replace with new bearing and setup mentioned by ZR
