    Mechanical water temp on 95

Hey guys and gals. I’m wanting to run a mechanical water temp gauge in my 95. Anyone doing this? Did you just replace the stock sender with the aftermarket thermocouple? Or is anyone running the stock sender and the mechanical?

I kept my stock sender and dash gauge, and added a mechanical gauge plumbed into the thermostat housing... knowing that i’m reading the coolant exit temp, and it only reads once the thermostat opens up. Plus side: it’s a great indicator of whether or not the thermostat is opening up, lol
