    MT82 Transmission fluid swap

Hi everyone, Ive been a proud owner of a 2014 mustang for about 2 months now.

Bought the car used with one owner in the history.

Basically, Like ive been reading all over the net that this transmission can be very noisy, Basically i hear a mechanical sound when im in neutral.

I just did the clutch, Pressure plate, Slave, Pilot bear , Pretty much all clutch related items are new. the noise is still there, I keep reading that the fluid ford uses is pretty shit so im going to convert my fluid over to the royal purple stuff,
Does anyone know the exact royal purple fluid i should be getting for my transmission? Any thoughts would be a great help!!

also, guys at mister transmission suggested that it might be my input shaft bearing that is making the noise. agian, any thought would be fantastic.

Noise when in neutral, is it quieter with clutch in or out?
Fluid, far better choice would be Amsoil Syncromesh.

lol Ive been to 4 different mechanics now, One says its the fly wheels natural noise, other says its the input rod bearing. ford says everything is normal
I still have drivetrain on the car, But apparently An input rod bearing isint covered ( even though its in the transmission)

Since changing the whole clutch assembly its def much better, I just cant get passed the noise, and its a subtle noice, you gotta turn everything off and listen carefully, BUT when you turn the car off you can hear the gears kinda all stopping, Its weird!

if you have a mechanic recommendation please let me know

    Replied to your pm.
Yes good idea to start with fluid.
Worth keeping in mind, some noise with trans in neutral and clutch released is normal for most.
If there is ATF in there now, bet the Syncromesh makes an appreciable difference.
