Basically, Like ive been reading all over the net that this transmission can be very noisy, Basically i hear a mechanical sound when im in neutral.

I just did the clutch, Pressure plate, Slave, Pilot bear , Pretty much all clutch related items are new. the noise is still there, I keep reading that the fluid ford uses is pretty shit so im going to convert my fluid over to the royal purple stuff,
Does anyone know the exact royal purple fluid i should be getting for my transmission? Any thoughts would be a great help!!

also, guys at mister transmission suggested that it might be my input shaft bearing that is making the noise. agian, any thought would be fantastic.
I have a 14 as well with still the original fluid in there
You’re welcome to listen to mine lol

Oddly enough, not so many years ago, both trans n diff fluid stood up well into high mileage but today it's not uncommon to see them need changing at way under 100k on the clock.

If the fluid looks and feels anything but cherry, money well spent.
