Stick the key under the cap beside the door handle with the key insert from your remote and boom! A key.

Anyone crack open the remote to disable the buttons?
Yup. I trimmed the little rubber part inside the keyfob so it won’t go off now just because of the way I get in or out of the car while it’s in my pocket. Much better. The newer fobs (2018+) don’t seem to be nearly as touchy.

I found this after trying to figure out how one would steal my car. You just stick the key in no twist.
Inside under the arm rest or cup holder there is supposed to be a spot you place the remote if the fob is dead. I couldn't find the fob spot on my 18, but there is no key spot inside the car.

You can turn it off using forscan. Among many many other things you can do.

I would just like the dealer to disable the damn horn from honking twice when I get out of the car when it’s running. That’s annoying!
