    Ecu repair

Can an Ecu be repaired, namely an A9L...long story short ,I tried to hook up my 2step to the clutch switch and think I fried something in the Ecu..car has spark and fuel but wont start, injectors are not firing, opened up the Ecu and found 1 burnt spot..If they can be fixed ,where? Or am I out of luck and need a new one?..Thanks...

They definitely can, but I am not sure where it would need to be sent.

The bare board can be repaired but several components are toast as well. Easier to get a new board. The cost to troubleshoot and repair the board (if you can find a guy) will cost you almost as much as buying one especially if the ECU is older.

If you don't know a guy who knows a guy that can do it for cheap.
Better buying a used one. ECU repairs cost almost as much as buying a used one sometimes, even more, depending on the cost of components.
