So I call for them to come and pick up the 80 Cobra... I'm not expecting any money since it's just a shell. The woman said we don't have time for just a shell and hung up... What kind of fucked up idiot business is this?

not many pickup incomplete cars...a scrap metal company may come and get it but likely wont give you any cash for it

Always been tough to get anyone to haul away a stripped shell, many times it requires outta pocket $$ to see em gone.
yeah, at this point... I'm willing to either get a new sawzall blade and cut it up until I can split it into 500 pound chunks and deliver it myself to scrap or pay someone lol Got one guy possibly willing to come. I told him I'll leave the good doors and good hatch which is worth something as well as my collection of cat converters (got 8)... to sweeten the deal a little.
