    I dunno, GFs old awd CRV was a tank is the snow with all season tires. Worth it IMO

    Did some highway driving last night with the new Hercules winter tires. Pretty damn smooth for a budget tire. Couldn’t figure out why the guy who installed them set the psi to 50+...

    As I'm now driving a truck for the first time since 1992, I'm bringing this thread back to life as I look for a set of winter tires for my new F150. Have your opinions changed on the tire choices you have made? Are there better options out there now since this post was first started.

    For me the Hercules continue to impress with no downside. Oddly enough, traction and ride of a soft tire but wearing like a much harder one.

    I went with Xi3 , quiet ride & I don't drive in deep snow, mainly slushy crap !
