Canadian faces up to 10 years in jail in Thai Grafitti incident

I bet some of the Spadina shop keepers who get tagged all the time, wished this was the punishment here.

I'm in favor of this punishment. If a few losers get sent up the river, maybe the rest will get the message.

"She said she's ashamed of herself," Schneider said. "It was an act of being intoxicated."
One night in Bangkok and the tough guys tumble...

Reminds me of the movie Midnight Express. Some people think when they travel abroad that the laws are the same as back home and suffer badly for their ignorance. Try spitting on a side walk in Singapore and get caught and see how that works out or stealing something in the mid east......

And I'm sure being intoxicated will make it all better.....LOL!

I remember the American caned for tagging some vehicles in Singapore, and the American kid who vandalized a N Korean propaganda banner,( he died in custody).
When my kids did the drunken STrips to Cuba and DR, gave them them the watch your ass speech, you end up in trouble, we may not be able to bail you out.
