You need to decide on what you want to do with it.
    Drag, track or street
I see lots of lower HP cars at the drags go faster then bigger HP cars because they are set up better.
Same with the road race tracks

Just like humans, you cant be a power lifter & run a 9 second 100M

alot of options here, but the 13-14 blowers can be had for a good price, pulley it down and you'll be havin a smile on your face!

clutch....the stock 13-14 will result in the best bang for the buck......

my buddies 13 shelby still rocks the stock clutch and makes 980 rwhp with a gen 3, 2.65 and he roll races and 1/2 miles it with no issues.
    2003 Azure Mach 1.....with some bolt on's.....
    2003 Marauder.....with some bolt on's....
    2011 GT500......with some bolt on's.......
82 GT, Coyote, build in play.......

As for clutches, I've got a number of guys well north of 600 rwhp running RST dual disc with no issues to date.

they come up from time to time, just gotta act quick as they get scooped up.
just remember if you go with the 13-14 clutch you will need a slave cylinder as the clutch set up is alot bigger than previous year Shelby's.
    try SVTperformance.

Would mine make more h/p with a larger tb and inlet combo, we all know it would but only at the expense of the 100% stock drive ability I'm enjoying now. Would I do anything different the second go round, absolutely not.
As for fuel system, drop in pumps available for your stock Shelby hat, used them in Gary's build to avoid using a boost a pump or similar.
Clutch, original stock clutch survived in my own car up until this year when I grew tired of the heavy pedal and went with an RST.

Pump link, direct replacement for your stock pumps (given age = time to replace anyways).

curious to know if you ported the OEM throttle body and/or the whipple elbow or did you use them as they came from the factory?

I ended up buying a GT500 throttle body/elbow for my VMP TVS but it was an impulse buy. I had always meant to stay with the OEM throttle body for the sake of driveability.

Stock Whipple 2.3 inlet plus ported stock TB has been flawless.
