    Metal Earth

Anybody else ever assemble any of these 3D metal models? They come in a flat, laser cut, metal sheet. Along with some tweezers, needle nose pliers, and a magnifying glass you bend and assemble the tiny pieces.

I previously assembled an Avro Lancaster.

Now I'm working on the U.S.S. Arizona. The Lancaster was easy compared to this one. Way more pieces, and much smaller. I've only assembled the one tower so far.

Does it taken longer or shorter time to assemble vs installing a set of cyl heads?

I've done a few of them. I have a Mustang still to do.

My kids got a book that was similar but paper not metal. One of the worst things I ever attempted.

Metal seems like a better bet.

Making much faster progress on the boat. Although the heads might be easier.

Insert tab 'A' into slot 'B', bend or twist to lock it in.
