Some Technical questions about my 2014 V6 premium

Hey guys, I cant seem to find any proper info on the web (surprise right?)

First question - I want to change my spark plus, im at about 83k and pretty sure their original, When i remove the intake manifold to access the other side, do i need to replace the gasket?

Second question - I also need to change my Rear sway bar bushings/links, Cant seem to figure out what diameter my bar is though? any suggestions for replacements? I only found that maybe my car is a 22mm bar? but some suggest 24mm. so im unsure.

any help would be great, Thanks in advance!!

I would think you would want to replace that gasket - you may get lucky using the old gasket but you will have bad seal and the engine will run poorly and ou will find yourself doing it again...

I don't know the diameter but I would think you cold find a kit specific to our car - try LMR or summit racing

If it was me, I would use my caliper and measure the bar.

Alright, so I'm having a hard time finding a bushing kit or links for 22mm bar. Motorcade has moogs for 70 a piece. And online doesn't help much

    Any suggestions would be great!

Try Rock Auto you may get lucky there, or better yet contact Parkway Ford and Ed will hook you up and they can ship also. As for the intake manifold....many of the intake manifolds on newer cars have reusable oring type gaskets to seal the runners, however they are probably cheap enough where you can just replace them. BUT most cars the plugs are good for like 160K, my 2006 escape, changed them at 158k and they still looked decent lol.

If you are interested in upgrading the rear bar to reduce understeer, you can get the larger one from a Boss 302 / late GT500 which is a 25mm diameter for about $135 + HST … and it comes complete with new bushings and stab links. Club pricing through Parkway is less, but then shipping for something that size to Toronto would be around $20-25.
