Saw the same story in City. It said not only is like 80% of the deer population carrying covid. But that they are carrying it indefinitely and a constant risk to continually reinfect.

This is sci-fi territory.

Or flawed testing methods. I know what common sense tells me.

What they are ignoring is how the dr that discovered the new variant in South Africa is opening saying that the media and governments are going crazy. Becasie yes there is potential for increased spread however EVERY documented case has been mild.
Which tracks 100% with the science behind these type of viruses. Yes they mutate and always get more transmittable but LESS dangerous

You don’t find it funny that 7 days after South Africa said publicly they won’t be purchasing anymore vaccines that the world health organization comes out and says they have a new variant and we should close all borders to them ?

the reason polio, small pox etc can be eradicated is because there is no animal reservoir. Flu variants have an animal reservoir (swine flu, bird flu etc).
