Suppose to look at a new work truck tomorrow that we are putting a Down payment on and hoping to finance the rest. Wanted to have the down payment with me so we could get the ball rolling ASAP since it’s an hour drive from us.

Went to the bank. “I need a bank draft or certified check but I don’t know who it’s going to be make out to.”

“Sorry sir can’t do one without a name on the received by line.”

“Crap. Okay no worries I’ll just take cash”

“Okay how much to do need to withdraw”

“Sorry sir we don’t keep that much in hand you need to give us 3 business days notice”

So I have my money. Sitting in my account. But I can’t have it. Thanks.

If it's a dealer just give them a CC to make the deal, and you can bring a bank draft when you pick up the truck.

I'll show the neighbour a couple houses down from me- I was talking to him and he mentioned he thinks for some reason someone is cutting or sabotaging his lights
but some of the wires look like its cut clean .

I can tell you: they prefer yellow and red lights. They leave the greens and blues.
