I think its the first pedestrian death from a semi or fully autonomous vehicle, believe previously only deaths were to vehicle occupants.

This scenario is a real world problem I hear a lot people working in autonomous cars were waiting for to see how it played out.
Insurance and law always needs to find a person at fault when accidents occur.
Who gets the blame when it’s an autonomous car.
I guess its a sound module that's hes essentially overwritten the factory files and replaced with an 8 bit midi file.
