I’ve had the charger tube pop before and that was the first thing I checked. But the rough ride is totally different. When the tub pops off the engine doesn’t get air so it struggles. This doesn’t do that, I have a major lose of power but the car drives. I didn’t bother looking at the plugs and stuff because I don’t know what I’m looking.

yep.
opened a cabinet door last month looking for something ....found some door hinge pins and bushing for my old notch.
...and the TB gasket I was actually looking for.
I call that win win.
