Simcoe is about 30 minute drive to TMP. It's their recommended hotel. But if you have a suggestion I'm all ears. Reservations can be changed.

I'll check - I would have thought along Centennial Parkway (#20) off the QEW would have some hotels.

Yep, guard on for me. Shit can still happen, but at least directed outward for the most part.

Reminds me: need a full face shield. I’ve had stuff get past safety glasses before.

Even though it makes using the cut off wheels a pita, leaving the guard on mine as well.

Had to remove the guard when I did the rear shocks on my Ram...wasn't comfortable but was the only way I could do it myself. Guard went back on after the job.

^^^ I'm not sure this is legit - I've had dozens of disc come apart on me, hit my hands, fingers, stomach - none of them split into two pieces, usually several small pieces and dust - if this hit the safety glasses while on his face he would have had tons of sparks flying in the same direction and looking directly into the flight path of the blade cutting(which is just dumb) - I think this was all set up for shock value and facebook… - yes Don a face shield with glasses is the best option - I get more shit in my eyes with glasses only than I do without - makes you think tho!
