They've know full well emissions from cars is a very small part of the pollution problem but there is no political will to address the real issue.

LOL. Fair I suppose. This one ain't whisper quiet or anything as it's in the detached, but my goodness can't get over the difference in

    - Quality. This thing seems to be built like a brick shithouse
    - Insulation, with the door closed my garage is now quieter than my house and I bet this winter going to be a lot easier to keep heat in the garage
    - Smoothness of operation. My good the old one took forever to go up and clattered and banged around. This thing just glides up in moments.

Fuck me I'm old. I'm excited about a garage door.

LOL, you should join Garage Journal (if you haven't already). New garage door and opener is big news! Like getting a Cobra kind of big news.

I had a build thread on there that I stopped posting to after I sheet rocked the place. Mostly because I had to refocus on the house so i never finished taping and mudding and it's now in a state of chaos again.

I'm in the same boat. I have 3 sheets of drywall still to put in place, tape, mud, finish the ceiling. Had to refocus on the house (basement). Then the car.
Maybe the garage will get finished in the fall. LOL

Ever stumble across a car you HAVE to have and know you will never get the chance again. But also know you have no space and a large project under way already.

I feel like anyone on here who doesn't relate to that is in a state of denial or has confused us with the equestrian mustang, at which point sub out car for horse and still probably true.
