I offered 5k paycut to work remote 2 days/week...
I spend 10k / year for my commute and create about 7 tonnes of CO2e. I'm ok with a paycut because it's important to me not to have to go to the office each day. I'm at the point where more money in my pocket won't make much of a difference and priorities are changing.
It's a moot point anyway.
In some circumstances it's better to take a pay cut for ones quality of life. I did and I don't regret my decision.
also on me mind:
I need to find the time to pull the 302 out of my notch to fix an oil leak, change the clutch and respray the engine bay to be more stock (grey with black overspray and grey engine block). Calipers will go from red (They're cobra's) to factory color and get the damn 3.73's installed...
Finally some summer like weather - got a lot of shit done yesterday and for some reason the High Commander wanted to be seen in public with me and came for a short Cruz in the mustang. It was a lot like the scene in the movie Toy Story when Mr. Potato Head was cruzing with Mrs. Potato Head. I tried to hit every bump but her lips wouldn't pop off and roll down the mountain...lol enjoy the nice weather everyone and forget about us troubles.
