On suggestion from several peeps that rave about those, tried a set on the HHR, about as impressed as Ron is with his Hawks.

My go to street pad is EBC green although they claim dust has been greatly reduced with the Reds. Currently run Greens on the Cobra for street use, season three on them and impressed enough I have Greens on order for the Impala and will be going to them on the HHR next time.
Have couple guys we've installed them for just as pleased.

We've even run into a couple set of Hawks that won't release properly once warm. Squeeling n dusty as fawk is the norm with em.

There are street sport and sports, I just bought the later, he said the first were closer to a stock pad and these were similar to the HPS 5.0
(Between HPS and HP+) im thinking you had the street sports on the wife's car?
Im continually impressed by JRP, while picking up the pads I asked what brand the slotted rotors they had in stock were and he said stoptech, I asked if there was any advantage to them vs stock Brembo rotors and he said the brembos were better quality. Several times now they have suggested I go with a less expensive option then what I was looking for. (Im sooooo happy I listened to them and got the quick latch hood pins)

So what exactly is that?
EBC yellow?? Cause for me I don’t want anything “similar “ or “close” or anything associated with that (HPS) name - sucks cause I have to wear these “fuckers” out - , stock pads went 140k with track days and changed “just because “but when you’re broke I can’t do “ just because “ lol
