When I was buying my truck these rangers just came out. I ended up buying a Tacoma. I couldn’t justify spending 40k on a ranger when an f150 is 45k

Size yes. But I was towing an RV trailer this weekend and it could have used a V8 lol

nah, I prefer classics for weekend fun type of car. Cheaper and better insurance and an excuse to tinker in the garage and drink beer lol Mustang is already out of my hands. If I get another S550 it will be a parts car for a Coyote swap into a fox lol

I have a serious 4wd friend who has a seriously equipped Toyo Landcruiser. He previously had a Taco, before that a 4Runner. I did a trip with him a couple of years ago, didn't touch pavement for 6 day and drove to the top of 3 mountains. He's somewhere between Vancouver and Tuktoyuktuk right now.

He mentioned that if he were in the market for a 4WD right now there's a mid size GMC that wins over the Taco. Might have been the Canyon or something like that.

Said nobody ever lol

My dad had a work truck that was a Tacoma. He liked it and it was reliable but fuel economy was horrendous, his work at the time put him in a new F150 with the 5.0 and fuel usage didn’t go up.

I have both. 5.0 f150 and the Tacoma, and unfortunately your right but it only applies to the 4.0 tacoma. The new 3.5 are much better
