Sounds to me like those plugs are part of the heads now.

Much like the Spice Girl's song, Two have become one. Lifetime plugs should be a selling feature.

I was hesitaint to do them at 150k knowing they had never been out. It got back burnered, then busy season hits and larger fish to fry came with it. Next thing I knew there was over 200k on them. Wash, rinse repeat and here we are now. Truck is a spare right now, doesn't owe us a dime. I replaced it with a Cummins, so at least that's one less set of plugs to worry about

Opposite end of the spectrum here, regardless of suggested interval, aim for 80k max. While none run dramatically different there is a noticeable improvement.

my edge was getting poor fuel economy. with almost 200k on it. it went in for service and I asked them to change the plugs they looked at me like I was nuts. said you only need to replace them if they fail. I said no thanks. replace them please. fuel economy improved.

Yeah I don't normally let plugs go that long. I like to get them out before 100k just to get them out of the heads. And for the price I put new ones back in weather they look good or not.

It is hard to believe that moving this little grey switch back and forth every day has caused a potentially career ending injury that at the very least will be with me for the rest of my life.
