I suggest waiting a couple of years before prank putting the pink tiles back up. Long game.

this picture of the kitchen shows the lovely crooked doors of the vintage cupboards, as well as the beautiful Pink tile. make of exotic plastic that actually says made in Canada on the back. if anyone is interested the tile comes off fairly easy, I can box it up and send it to you if you wish to surprise the wife.

the bath room upstairs had the same tile when we gutted it, but it was a light green color. I'm still not sure which is uglier.

I already relocated the one lower cupboard to the back room. this afternoons job is to tap into the pluming underneath and get the dishwasher hooked up back there, cuz this guy don't like doing dishes,
I thought my early 50s kitchen was bad but at least it is white or off white.

Of course the majority of my house has pink wallpaper with a whole 19th century scene including a mill and a guy fishing so I'm only ahead on one room being livable.
