Pops apparently got bored with the factory jam on his AMG S-Coupe. So he ordered a Renntech tune that apparently adds 100hp/100tq to the unit. I was skeptical that his $3500 OBD plug would do a damn thing TBH but his money. Came in yesterday, he asked me to swing by and help him install. Literally took a minute to flash the tune. Like " uhhhh I guess it worked" fast. Took it out for rip with him driving to see if there was a noticeable difference fully expecting the "ummmm I suppose it feels a little faster" but no. This fucker now is a certified ripper. Like went from fast to holy fuck Im seeing plaid.

New factory boosted stuff is bonkers.

Yes the pop on downshifts in sport + mode is now fully on automatic rifle mode.

This is an obvious side effect of lock down unemployment and not unique locally. Crime is up everywhere. Unprepared, unemployed people with deserted streets makes for motivated thieves in a time of easy pickings.
