Battery was dying on the truck, so picked up a new battery today. Installed it, and *click*. WTF? Dead new battery? Throw it on the charger, several hours later *click*. WTF?
After much cursing, then calming down with a beer, I asked google WTF?
Answer: pinch you left ear, hold your breath for 5 seconds, repeat, then it should work.
It worked.

did you remove the bad part and set it down directly next to the identical looking good part. Then get distracted, come back a while later mistakenly pick up the old part and reinstall it.
cuz have totally never done that...…..
