Currently doing a fireplace build in the living room. It’s framed, finished the electrical and the cement board. Picked out some nice porcelain tiles.. wanted to do big slabs. They’re 2ft x 4ft.. don’t know if I have the balls to attempt this myself (they’re expensive). Anyone know a reputable installer in the GTA? Looking for some quotes.

I found large tile easier to deal with than small stuff

Just make sure you use the proper notch and let extra time to dry. Before grout. The 24x24 we used called for 72 hours.
    But 4 feet is huge.
