The thing that's really bothering me (today) is the admin of one just seems to LOVE shitting all over people, especially those who don't agree with his POV or beliefs. And people have basically deified him to where his word is infallible and he's without reproach. Like someone asked about 302 swapping a 6, he posts a loaded response of " why would you want to do that ancient step backwards" and proceeds to shit on anyone saying a V6 isn't better than a V8 swap. Keeps making claims, I ask him to provide some form of metric to back up his claims or explain his POV and he posts random nonsense opinion then claims I'm just another dumb V8 lover idiot when I call him on it.
Like for all the shit people say about not keeping the hobby alive people like this twat are what's killing it. Instead of calling out everyone who doesn't agree with how you choose to mod a car or don't fit in the mold that you want maybe try educating people instead of belittling. And maybe try understanding everyones got different dreams, goals and aspirations for their cars so if they want to choose a mod path that isn't the same as yours that's not wrong. Like I don't give a fucking shit if you can turbo a V6 for $2500 and make the same HP as a 2v or 302, some people just want the V8 and thats fine so quit the Napoleon complex, be helpful, or go back to searching for male enhancement pills.
