I find some of the Enkie rims surprisingly heavy.
Yeah it depends on which line of rims you look at. I always check the weight of rims I’m interested in. My stock wheels are in the 30s, my winter wheels 18x8 are 26lbs and the Raijin 19x9.5 are 23-24lbs. I used to have 17x8 Wedsports for my Civic. They were 17-18 lbs. and forged.

I’d use RPF1’s as track rims but can’t justify the cost to use them 3-4 times a year.
FC04’s look good and are pretty light.
Stock engine Fox equipped with the Maximum Motorsports catalog. Now I have lots of Trick Flow stickers.

If you double the amount of times to the track, the cost would come down.

Started 24th ended up P5 in the GT3 field in my 24hr race this weekend. Did a triple stint early on and did a quad stint of 4hours from 2am-6am. I am truly exhausted.

Check out the two big moments of the race.

Clip 1: Coming into the pits for stop #3 of 26... car infront moves farther left then anticipated and a wicked save by my teammate to keep it out of the wall.

Clip 2: Zippy piloting. 4am reflexes. (look in the mirror for the car sideways about to run us over). Lost it on the brakes behind us. Thankfully was able to see it in the mirror and pull the wheel left to avoid being cleaned out.

Bottom of my engine is balanced and ready. Won’t be long until engine is ready.

I’m getting them to clean the block up. What colour works best with these engines ? I’m going to have them paint the block.

Since so little shows after assembly, I've fallen back to the factory black for the block itself, we use grey hammertone on the alum front cover n acc brackets. Exactly how we did engine from my own car. As you can see, hardly any of the block shows, your 2v would be similar. Cool part about the hammertone, at a glance it looks like fresh n new alum. Ross also takes the time to clean, prep and paint every nut, bolt and washer before we install. We have more and more customers that are looking to have the same done to theirs, it's time consuming but makes such a difference in the overall product.
