Just think if a business wants to offer perks to attract customers it’s shady business practice to cop that cost on someone else and then force them not to disclose it. It really wouldn’t work in any other business.
Yes business can earn money and People are 100% responsible for their own spending but cc companies prey on peoples weaknesses and disparity. I’m. It gonna shed tears for them having to be held accountable. While they still take in millions.
Don't punish business for having to charge a bit extra to cover the ever increasing CC charges. Punish the CC company. stop using it. Blame them and online stores like Amazon. Super hard for a brick and mortar store to compete with the likes of Amazon when they have to pay for all their inventory, interest and overhead while Amazon only pays for their overhead.
100%. It’s a sad state the way public perception is. Had a lady the other day claim that no one buys stuff in stores anymore. People hate on big corporations but line up to give Amazon all their money.
Amazon mess is a whole other story with the people running “side hustles” via Amazon some of the same ones hating on regular business who actually do things by the book.

They are allowed to disclose the fee - prior to this change they were just not allowed to discriminate between different types of payment. It would be similar to a business charging more to anyone paying by cheque because some may bounce. Capital One made a net margin of ~6% on credit card balances for each of 2019, 2020, and 2021 - I'm not sure that 6% is considered "massive". Is the appliance business about 3-4%?
True dat.

on the QE this morning I saw a very unusual tire failure. Nissan cube doing about 110KM/hr starts swaying side to side in fast lane but keeps it mostly in their lane. I see a complete treat and sidewall section scoot across the highway from fast lane through middle, slow lane and onto shoulder. Looking in my mirror I see the driver rear wheel either on the rim or sidewall. I see light between the rim flanges. They managed to get the car straight and pulled to the center shoulder.
I've never seen a complete, unbroken donut of tread and sidewall separate from a wheel.
