Not me. Friend of mine has a '82 camaro carbed 2.8v6 4 speed. Just thought a 3.8 super charged v6 would be cool but might be more trouble than its worth

Try your luck on a Pontiac Fiero forum, I'm pretty sure the Fiero came with the option of a 2.8V6 / 4-spd manual. Many guys have done the 3.8 SC engine swap mated to a 4/5 speed manual.

the free market would sort this out, unless regulators get in between to pick winners or be "persuaded" to allow some form of monopolization.
