^ I don't allow them to play me that way. Won't talk price of what I'm interested in, won't talk what my trades worth, will only talk price difference plus tax then make them a one, make that only one time offer cause I'M A ONE PRICE CUSTOMER. Key for me, don't get emotionally invested in the potential new ride, that way you don't fawk yourself over. If that doesn't work for them, I'm ok with spending money elsewhere. Most hassle free deal I've ever made, Bill from Heritage.

Oh i get it. Its why I keep walking. Unfortunately looking used because new truck prices are just wild.
No way my budget would allow a new truck like I've got now, crazy how much they've climbed.
Joe Van Overbeek, the hall of fame guy was committed to a particular model of suburban. He had a few bodies, bucket of spares and would just maintain one or two as roadworthy. Last I spoke to him he was planning to be running them until he no longer drives.
Just like I've built an aversion to smart phones (yes I have one, but will not replace), I'm not a big fan of modern vehicles that can be monitored and possibly even shut down by a 3rd party. And yes I'm single.
