My point is in some circumstances % tax paid is greater than stated sales tax % on dollars spent.
Do you think this trend will increase or decrease?

They knew what they were doing but did it anyway - I guess premise is it's better to ask for forgiveness. RRSPs are not the same as TFSAs other than being "registered" financial vehicles. Same thing happened with the donation tax scheme about 20 years ago - had co-workers espousing this TGTBT donation tax scheme back then and trying to convince me to do it to - they paid the price a few years later when it finally got through the courts.
Update on my back: Could barely walk..ended up going to the hospital, confirmed the tear, going to be a long healing process to make sure this doesnt come back. Cant walk, cant sit, cant stand... luckily the Dr prescribed some pain meds. Going to be a long 4 weeks.
Shit Zee, sounds painful. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
