I think the inversion table option wasn't that far off - got in to see my Dr on Tuesday and diagnosis is compressed nerve in neck/upper spine (possibly arthritic issues related to the past whiplash) so the plan is:
3-week course of anti-inflammation medication (NSAID)
Cervical x-ray (already done on Tuesday so waiting for results)
    MRI (pending appointment)
Neurosurgeon consult (if needed-will depend on MRI results)
Physiotherapy with neck traction (start Friday)

Much more mobility today than last week/weekend but not good enough to withstand the drive to TMP and standing around for hours....bummer because with the cloud cover it will probably be a nice day at the track.

Really need to find that out before making any sort of reco. A 27' Bayliner might weigh 5,500lbs wet but a 27' Formula PC might weigh 10,000lbs. One is well within a RCLB 1/2 tons limits the other is verging on 2500 territory. Also are you planning on just trailering it and launching it once a year a short distance from your house, or are you taking it on road trips to the cottage 4 hours away?

Hammerhead made a great reco as well. Keeping it at the Marina is safer, easier to enjoy, and probably would be a break even over a few years vs buying a decent truck or SUV tow rig. Boats cost enough to maintain alone vs adding another vehicle to the mix. Make sure you get a good marine survey done, boats can be a straight up nightmare if you buy one that's been neglected or had hack fixes.

Sorry Stephen this was suppose to go under Mav's post...

Yes I did, easy enough process. Got a nice 40 page booklet detailing the car

Well, after checking stuff out about owning a boat, I think I'll wait till I retire and live up north where I can store boat on my own property and such. Costs are a little high. In time I guess.
