Well. Spent the day in the garage. Installed a new fuel pump in focus the easy way. AKA cut my way through the floor by the back seat lmao!

Good news! I got it to turn over and run for 30 seconds. But it dies out. Won't stay running.

Any idea what it could be. Clogged fuel filter?

It's a 2001 ZX3 with no real intentions of getting back on the road. It would just be fulfilling and pretty cool to bring it back from the dead.

Fuck yeah. Dropping the tank is just silliness.... AND I currently have no way of getting the car up enough to drop the tank so yeah. Choppy choppy.

Apparently it's pretty common. I found like 10 videos and some write ups of people doing it because pumps always fail on these cars. MK 1 foci are colossal lemons lol.

Jr took my truck so took the mrs for a ride in the stang last night ,at 10min mark she was texting jr to trade vehicles lol , but she stuck it out , gonna try again today, if I take her to her fav shop in Collingwood I'm sure she will be on board

took Friday off ...so Jodi and I could head up to our nephew's cottage on Kawagama Lake just outside of Dorset

water access...so parked at the marina and got in his 19ft Doral for a 10 minute cruise to the cottage on Fish Pole Point

nice dock to chill on and soak up the rays....and 82 steep steps up to the little 3 bedroom 1/bath cottage with a nice deck

was worried about Jodi tackling the steps but she was a trooper....up and down endless times without complaint

ate very well....cruised the lake in the boat about 8 times.....weather was awesome.....and took in some fireworks last night on a local friend's private island right across from the barge where the fireworks were going off

headed back this morning so traffic was non-existent

awesome time....will do again
