Check out the additional vid of them loading the tires, mismatched and virtually bald. All wheel studs broken, never squared rims to the hub / each other and never torqued. When installed and torqued correctly, unless insanely overloaded, chances of that kind of failure is virtually zero. When are installers going to finally get their collective heads outta their asses and start torquing every wheel on every vehicle. Yup it's a pain in the ass and does take extra time but it's the way wheels were always meant to be put on.
Truck and/or driver probably came out of Brampton.
69 year old driver of the SUV hit by the tire has passed away
Regardless of where it came from, someone responsible for maint has some serious explaining to do as does anyone that may have looked it over at a scale.
Same outcome on the 401 this past November.

Check out the pic of the sheared studs, some with rust, wonder how long they've been broken + decent tire on the forward outter dual, inner is a skidder.

Heard the MAX fine for this BS is only $50,000K, so these kind of POS Semis will remain on the road.
May the poor guy R.I.P, he had no chance with that impact.
