the 2017 Formula 1 season is two weeks away

pre season testing is done

new rules....new cars

way more downforce.....way more grip....and HUGE mutherfucking tires

still running the V6 hybrid turbo.......but these are FAST fucking cars

Kimi in the Ferrari set the fastest lap in testing (said he coulda gone faster but it's only testing)

3.5 seconds faster than last year's pole

3 tenths off of the lap record (naturally aspirated screaming V8) from 2008 with this track configuration

2 seconds per lap slower than the fastest ever (2005 shreeking NA V10) but with one less chicane on the track

these new cars go through corners flat out like a fucking missile

not sure if they can pass each other on track.....and they sure don't shriek to ear-drum-breaking decibals like the V10s......but they are fucking fast

2 weeks until the Circus lights it up in Australia
