took a flight to Ottawa yesterday, and as we gained altitude I was looking at all the little house, amazed at the population density of this city. Then the realization hit me: those little dots on the ground were $1M.

Then we flew over an area that struck me as odd. All the houses were tightly packed, but then this one area had gigantic lots.

The area between Castlemore (Bovaird) and Mayfield were all estate and custom homes up until a few years ago when the regular subdivisions spread north from Springdale. New builds have been getting smaller footprints as builders bought up the properties but there's still some nice spots if you like Springdale North on your doorstep.
