Anyone work at Nissan? A friend has a noisy transmission - potential 2012 Rogue CVT issue which appears to be a known issue. There is a recall/extended warranty for years up to 2010, and I think I saw something about a 2013-2016 recall but cannot find anything on the 2012 model year specifically.

My Nephew's Altima. After a lengthy back and forth for them to replace just as warranty ended, new trans failed less than a year later with no relief from mfg.

That seems to be the common complaint from Nissan owners whose model years are outside the extended warranty window or those who had repairs/replacements only to have subsequent failures. This has been going on for 15 years now from what I see online.

Dump it, leave it running in Rexdale or set it ablaze.

In the end, inexcusable what he ended up loosing dumping the car.

lol that's where all the stolen transport trucks and loaded trailers end up once the freight is gone - had a few customers find there's at the woodbine centre and few other industrial locations..lol
