Hey all,

I'm wanting to buy an auction vehicle with a salvage title. Apparently you need to be registered with OMVIC to even bid on a vehicle. Does anyone here have the appropriate licence or know someone that would?

That's if you want to buy a salvage title car within Ontario. Several US states allow you to buy salvage title cars without a license needed. I ended up getting a US Copart account for this reason.

It is a salvage title at the Copart auction in Courtice. If you have a US account are you able to buy vehicles in Canada?

No idea to be honest. Never looked in to Canadian side since there is very very little chance I'd ever get OMVIC licensed and you need that for everything as you alluded to earlier.
