2018 GT Rear Parking Sensor Volume

Hi everyone. On my car I like to keep the rear parking sensor activated. However, I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the actual volume of the ‘beep/tone’ is really really loud! Just wondering if anyone noticed it to be loud on their 15+ car. If so, does anyone know if there’s a way to adjust the volume of the sensor?

    Thanks in advance.
    Paul.

I see that there is nothing in the manual as well. Try adjusting the volume control when you throw it reverse and when it starts to beep.

You can turn it off in the settings. Can't adjust the volume though.

Yeah, I forgot to ask you about what you thought when I picked it up. It’s annoying. I may just turn it off. The volume is enough to jolt u and actually cause you to flinch, if you’re not aware....very strange.

Does the reverse beeper sound come through the stereo system or is there a separate speaker for it? If separate. Maybe you can locate it and wrap some foam around it to muffle the sound. Just a thought.
