    Since you just installed a new T-stat....any chance you may have air in the system? Happened to me and the car behaved as you described.

    Water Wetter or Purple Ice might help too, it did for me

    Testing water wetter, purple ice and Amsoil equivalent in supercharged intercoolers, saw neg results with all due to excessive foaming.

    Are you running a front mount cooler? Might be blocking too much of the rad/need more air flow.

    I was thinking the same with the front mount inter cooler. Took it to work today will see what it does on the way home in traffic. I installed a new water pump and do see a slight improvement in temp. But wont know until i get in traffic while being hot outside.
