    T56 swap questions

Planning my t56 swap for the maverick.
I have the transmission already. It is a viper spec, with a ram clutch 1300 lb clamping force.

Now; should I go cable or hydraulic ?

    Wilwood pedal setup?

If I go hydraulic internal slave/throw out or external slave with clutch fork?

I am a transmission tech, but we don’t do a lot of manual swaps and I like to get as much advice and information as I can prior to tackling a swap.

I've tried aftermarket pedal boxes mounted to a stock car with dismal results. On custom hyd set ups, based on stock pedal with reinforced firewall has worked best. Only downside, labor intensive but works mint once you have the bugs ironed out. Cable is a great option but keep in mind firewall must be reinforced or it will see significant deflection resulting in poor operation.
