    Metal work

My 88 mustang resto project has been stalled. Was wondering if anyone knows a good autobody guy that can cut out some rust spots and weld in some new metal. Any info would be helpful at this point. Knowledgeable auto metal guys are slim to none.

I would think it will be very difficult to find someone based on your second requirement

Agreed. Nobody wants to work at someone else’s place, and if they do they’re likely not very skilled.

Many body shops use panel bonds instead of welding for many reasons and most people wouldn't know it - if you are unable to weld I would check on panel bonding - 3m makes a good product - also search for pre-made panels if you havent the equipment to bend steel - welding is not the only answer an most vehicles today are glued in some areas including transport trucks - its worth checking out

Edit - if you can't find piece you need simple take simple drawing and measurements to a metal fad shop and they will make them up for you...
