Took it off years ago and there was a dime size amount of some dried out white stuff.
I coated the whole back side with PC heat sink paste.
All this TFI talk has me worried. I'm pretty sure the one on my car is still the original. Can they fail while the car is running?
Ford relocated the TFI off the distributor for the 94-95 Mustangs.
TFI relocation kits are available for the foxbody.
Oddly enough, while most never experience a TFI issue, others will eat two or more over their lifetime.
When it comes to replacements, OEM Ford has always been the best choice.
