    @!#$%@#$ ing impaired drivers.

Can count off several sightings of radar either on the hwy or in speed transitions zone but when was the last time anyone can remember seeing or being stopped in a Ride Check??

A 55-year-old man has been arrested for impaired driving causing death after a man was killed in a a two-vehicle collision on Highway 401 in North York on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called just after 4:30 on the westbound collector lanes of Highway 401, near Keele Street for reports of a collision.
When crews arrived, they located one person trapped inside a vehicle.

Something needs to be done and I fear things will only continue to get worse now that weed is legal.

My wife hired a summer intern at work and the intern's cousin (university student) was killed by a drunk driver in Collingwood a couple weeks ago.

I don't know if alcohol was involved (but it was late at night) but it sounds like stupid aggression caused the fatal truck/Corvette/Mazda crash on the 401 last week.

It’s only getting worse. People simply don’t care anymore. It’s all about “me me me”. You know how many times I catch people looking at their cellphones? Weed and alcohol just makes things worse.

I am am truly scared for our children.

Would be quite happy to see more ride checks... Been a few years since I was stopped at one. Although, I recall I didn't agree with the 'warn range' thing when that came out.

They should treat distracted drivers with the same depth as impaired.

A drunk driver may see double, but at least he is looking at the road.
A distracted driver isn't ever looking at the road!

    Both are equally dangerous.
