    Cool Excuses for selling a car

    Here's a list of excuses you can use when selling a car. Post up some more if you have.

    Need a car with more cup holders.
    Don’t Want to Drive Manual anymore.
    Bought it for my girlfriend but she doesn't like the color.
    Too powerful for me / wife / girlfriend etc".
    Baby on the way and need minivan.
    Great car but need a van or truck for work.
    Too many projects on the go.
    Got a company car and this one needs to go.
    Time for something different.
    Bought if for my son/daughter but they don’t like it.
    Moving out of the country and need to sell ASAP.
    Need the money for school or other hobbies.
    No more room on driveway or Losing my storage space.
    Inherited from family member and would rather have cash.
    Passed my midlife crisis and need to pay alimony now.
    Only drive it once or twice a year / Have no time for it anymore.
    Need a smaller more economical vehicle now.
    Been a great car but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.
    Will make a great project for dad/son/daughter adventure.
    Bought it with intention or rebuilding it but have no time or money now.
    Going in a different direction now.
    Health issues force me to sell the car.
    Too many tickets and insurance is too high for me to keep the car.

    Because I hate it vehemently but lighting it ablaze isn't a viable financial decision at this time.
