Have not had any luck with the in spring mount bags in my experience. Always seem to develop a leak at some point either in the bag itself or the fitting.

My current Ram has the load lifter 5000's on it

No issues, much more complex install that sliding in a bag but have functioned well over the summer of towing 8000-9000lbs worth of equipment around.

Had around 1800lbs in the bed of the Ram yesterday, 70lbs of air in the bags and it was sitting like factory. No air and the thing was doing a wheelie.

Also moved our 9000lbs industrial vacuum with the truck a couple times, 60lbs of air and its dead level. So far very worth it. Also been running them with near no PSI unloaded and zero issues to report thus far.

I loved the ones we had in the other truck for load handling but they made the ride way too hard. no matter how I adjusted the sensors they would still be too firm and hitting a bump on the highway would almost be painfull

Upside to this type of bag, does not hurt ride and even when truck is empty / bags at 10psi, improves stability.
    Win win win.

I have mine at 0 psi. Don't even know they're there.

So first heavy load on the updated bags yesterday (steel enclosed car trailer with Cobra), while the original bags worked ok the HD version are all that and then some. Carried the same load at much lower PSI which translates into a much improved ride n feel, nice product thats very affordable n easy to install.
