I think the S197 seats look quite at home in the new edge cars as long as the colour works.

I bought a set from a 2014 (charcoal with the white stripe) to put in my Fox.
Fox seats mount up very similarly to the New Edge.

Apparently manual Fox rails drop the seating position about 1/2"-3/4" so that's the way I'm going for now.
Power lumbar and heat seem like a real bonus for some late season cruising!

I put some S550 GT PP recaro’s in my foxbody on the weekend. Bolted up to the stock front mounting holes with one new hole drilled per seat, need to make up some brackets to mount the back half of the seats. They do sit high compared to stock seats. Will look at the fox rail option

How hard would it be to change the seat foam? A Niagara auto wrecker has these for low $$.

There are some good how to videos out there on these. Personally upholstery is not my thing so I'd take them in. If going that far might as well redo them all the way.

While seats are a PITA to take apart, it's very doable with patience. Did leather interior myself in the last truck, came out looking factory.

Thanks, that's what I kinda figured. Fast Ed informed me that the seat cushions are obsolete. I found some on LMR...about $350 for the cushions and $300 + shipping for the seats equals $650+. That's about the price I've seen for undamaged seats. Maybe I'll pass on these and keep aiming for the "premium" pattern.
