How is the 40 Creek? Is it aged for any length of time? I'm sure it's blended (almost ALL whiskies and scotches are).

the 40 Creek Double Barrel Reserve is a blend of 3 other 40 Creek offerings. Canadian Whiskey is aged a minimum of 3 years so it is likely safe to assume the 3 used in the blend were aged 3 at least. But some of the other 40 Creek are aged up to 10 years. Then they are blended and aged further in the second set of barrels. Not sure how long but to be effective, perhaps another 3+ on top of the age of those in the blend.

I made a couple more purchases today. holy fuck boose is CHEAP here!!
Makers Mark 46 ... a Kentucky Bourbon that they are running out of at the distillery. In another year this could be the end of it!
Laphroiag 18yr ... no longer carried at the LCBO. Was $180 odd bucks, I got it here for $85.
The Dalmore 18. Another great scotch that the LCBO doesnt usually carry and when they do its a few hundred bucks, I paid half that.
