I’d say almost as good. It’s a Brut as opposed to a double but it has a very similar flavour.

Had a “red moon Manhattan” at the keg last night. Made with a cabernet instead of a sweet vermouth.

It was good. Almost too sweet for a Manhattan. But tasty

South Etobicoke Brewers is made up of independent breweries who call Etobicoke, Ontario home. Members include Big Rock Brewery, Black Oak Brewery, Great Lakes Brewery, Indie Alehouse and Von Bugle Brewing. To kick things off in a proper beer manner, all five member breweries are coming together to whip up a special collaboration beer. More details to be announced soon.

Very cool! Will have to check it out right after I finish this Heady Topper
